Contact UsHow it works
- Upload a photo — it's automatically cropped into a circle. Skip this and initials are shown instead.
- Fill in the employee's name, job title, department, and employee ID.
- Enter the company name shown in the header band.
- Pick an accent color for the header, photo ring, and footer strip.
- Download the finished badge as a PNG or JPG, sized to the standard CR80 vertical badge (2.125″×3.375″) at print resolution.
Frequently asked questions
Does this upload the employee photo or details anywhere?
No — the badge is drawn directly onto a canvas in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
What size is the download?
The PNG/JPG is 638×1013 pixels — the standard CR80 vertical badge size (2.125″×3.375″) at 300 DPI, ready for a badge printer or print shop.
What if I don't have a photo yet?
The badge shows the employee's initials in a colored circle instead, so you can still generate and print a usable badge right away.
Can I add a scannable QR code or barcode?
Not on the badge itself — for a scannable code, generate one separately with the QR Code Generator tool and add it during printing or lamination.
Can I change the badge's colors to match our brand?
Yes — one accent color drives the header band, the ring around the photo, and the footer strip, so it's a one-click brand match.
Your files are never uploaded. Gotool.xyz runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files are processed in memory and never touch a server — nothing to breach, nothing to clean up. Close the tab and it's like it never happened. The only thing we count is which tool ran (just the name, e.g. "merge") so we know what people find useful — never your file, its name, its size, or anything in it.
