No — every edit happens locally in your browser using the canvas API; the photo file itself never leaves your device.
What can I actually do with it?
Crop, rotate and flip, adjust brightness/contrast/saturation/hue/blur, apply one-click filters (Vivid, B&W, Vintage, Cool, Warm, Fade), draw freehand with a brush or eraser, add movable/editable text and shapes (rectangle, ellipse, line), reorder and adjust the opacity of each addition, and export as PNG or JPEG.
Is there an undo button?
Yes — full undo/redo (also Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y), plus a one-click Reset back to your original upload.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, the toolbar, canvas, and touch dragging all work on mobile as well as desktop.
Your files are never uploaded. Gotool.xyz runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files are processed in memory and never touch a server — nothing to breach, nothing to clean up. Close the tab and it's like it never happened. The only thing we count is which tool ran (just the name, e.g. "merge") so we know what people find useful — never your file, its name, its size, or anything in it.
