Works with modern .docx files, including images and headings. Older .doc files (pre-2007 Word) use a legacy binary format a browser can't read — save it as .docx first (File → Save As → Word Document) and it'll open here. Once loaded, click into the document to edit the text directly — add, change, or delete paragraphs, list items, and images. Adding brand-new headings or inline bold/italic isn't supported, since there's no formatting toolbar here.
