Built and exported entirely on your device -- nothing is uploaded, and the exported STL always matches the preview. "Raised feet" / "Recessed grip" / "Flat" control the base -- Flat is a plain slab with neither feet nor a pocket. Each outer wall is labeled A1 (front), A2 (right), A3 (back), A4 (left); each divider gets its own label (A5, A6, ...) and its own Width/Height/Depth/Placement controls, and a new or shrinking divider automatically keeps a little headroom so Placement (up/down) always has room to move. "Holes" and "Text" both work as repeatable lists, just like Dividers: click "+ Add" for as many as you want, each with its own Wall (any outer wall, the bottom, or any divider) and Placement -- so several can share one wall, or mix freely across walls, dividers and the bottom. Text also has Raised (emboss) or Engraved (intrude) style (always capped to leave a safe minimum thickness behind the letters), and, for any outer wall, an Inside/Outside choice for which face it sits on. "Wall design" is the same kind of repeatable list, but each row places a preset relief pattern (tiled to fit) or a single preset icon instead of typed text, with the same Wall/Style/Inside-Outside/Placement controls, and prints with a thin frame outline traced around its own footprint by default -- an "Add border outline" checkbox on each row can switch that off, which also lets the pattern/icon itself use the row's full available space instead of the border-inset one. Targeting an outer wall or divider with a hole, text, or wall design forces that panel to sharp corners; targeting the bottom forces a plain flat base. Each outer wall also has its own "Outer walls" row for an independent Thickness and Height (never taller than the tray's own default), a "Remove this wall" option for an open side, its own "Edge style (top rim)" -- Sharp (default), Round (a rounded top-outward corner running the wall's full length), Ledge (a flat chamfered outer top corner), or Scoop (a shallow concave dip along the whole top edge, full height only at the two corners) -- selectable independently per wall, and its own "Add inward shelf" checkbox -- a thin ledge protruding inward from that wall's inside face, with its own Shelf height/depth/thickness sliders, so a lid, plate or divider can slide in and rest safely at any height, independent of that wall's Edge style and independent of every other wall's shelf; once a shelf is on, an "Add a second shelf, stacked above" checkbox adds a second one directly above the first, sharing the first shelf's own Depth/Thickness, separated by its own "Gap between shelves" slider (3mm by default). Picking anything but Sharp on any wall's Edge style, or turning on any wall's inward shelf, switches every wall to its own individual panel, the same sharp-cornered trade-off a hole/text/wall-design row on an outer wall already causes. Separately, "Outer corners" controls the 4 vertical corners where two walls actually meet (front-right, back-right, back-left, front-left) -- each one independently Sharp (default), Round (a rounded vertical corner), Ledge (a flat diagonal chamfer), or Scoop (a deeper concave groove running the corner's full height); this fully replaces the old single "Outer edges: Round/Sharp" toggle, so all 4 corners can now be mixed and matched instead of only being all-Round or all-Sharp together. Each corner also has its own "Vertical extent" -- Top to bottom (default, unchanged full-height behavior), Top only, or Bottom only -- and, whenever Top only or Bottom only is picked, its own adjustable "Extent" slider controlling exactly how far from that end the style reaches before the corner transitions back to plain Sharp. A small "Gotool.xyz" watermark is always engraved into the base, the same quiet branding this site's other 3D-print tools already carry. Adjusting any divider, hole, text row, wall design row, outer wall, or outer corner briefly blinks that exact part in the preview so it's easy to spot what just changed. The download filename updates automatically. "Base type" switches the tray's whole footprint between Square (the default, everything described above) and Circle: Circle mode replaces Width/Depth with a single Diameter slider, and the tray's 4 straight walls and 4 vertical corners collapse into one continuous curved wall (still labeled A1, with its own Thickness/Height/Remove controls) and no corners at all -- the "Outer corners" section simply disappears, since there's nothing for it to control. A divider added in Circle mode becomes a straight chord across the circle, its length automatically shrinking the further it sits from dead center so it always lands cleanly inside the curve. Holes, Text and Wall design placed on wall A1 in Circle mode are positioned and angled around the ring using the same Placement slider as before (now read as a position around the circle's circumference instead of along a straight wall), but -- to keep this first round of Circle support simple -- they're built as small flat plaques rather than actually curved to match the wall, so a hole's edges or a pattern's relief are flat facets, not wrapped to the wall's own curvature; edge style (Round/Ledge/Scoop) and inward shelves also aren't offered for Circle's wall yet, only Sharp.

How it works

  2. Set the tray's width, height, and depth, then the wall thickness.
  3. Pick the base style — raised feet (extrude), good for stacking, or a recessed grip (intrude) carved into the underside.
  4. Drag to rotate and scroll to zoom the live 3D preview — the white dimension lines on the model show the exact printed size.
  5. Click Download STL to get a file ready to slice and print; the filename automatically updates to match the current size and settings.

Frequently asked questions

Is my design uploaded anywhere?

No — the 3D model is built and exported entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

What file format does this export?

A standard binary STL file — the format nearly every 3D printer and slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, and similar) expects.

What's the difference between raised feet and a recessed grip?

Raised feet (extrude) add small stacking feet under the base — a little extra height, included in the size shown. Recessed grip (intrude) instead carves a shallow pocket into the underside for grip, without changing the overall footprint or height.

How does the auto-renaming work?

The suggested download filename always reflects the tray's current width × depth × height, slot count, and base style, so your downloaded STL files stay easy to tell apart without renaming them yourself.

How is the 2-slot divider positioned?

It sits exactly in the middle, splitting the tray into two equal compartments — the same wall thickness as the outer walls.

Do I need a 3D printer to use this?

You'll need access to one (your own, a friend's, a local makerspace, or a print-on-demand service) to actually print the exported STL file — this tool only designs and exports it.
